The banjo catfish can live at temperatures of 62-78 celcius, they prefer PH levels slightly acidic but can tolerate a PH range of 6.5-78. There not a massive growing cat fish there maximum size is about 6 inches.
The banjo catfish is a peaceful cat fish. However as they get bigger they may try to fit a small fish in there mouth! So platy size fish and above is best to mix with these fish.
The banjo catfish like to hid so a lot of people say they never see them. They will dig under the gravel to hide. They do not move a massive amount so people can mistake them as a dead fish, or a dear leaf on the bottom of the tank. This is there behaviour they tend to just float about
They are a bottom feeding fish so do require sinking food.
The banjo catfish is a bottom feeding fish. So they need sinking food.
Also some frozen or live food in there diet like blood worm is good for them.
Foods suitable for the banjo catfish
