Cherry Barbs

Puntius titteya common name Cherry Barb.
They grow up to 5 cm / 2 inches fully grown. They live in water parameters of PH range 6.0-7.5, and temperatures of 24-26 Celsius / 74-79 °F.
The cherry barb although a barb is one of the peaceful barb. They can mix well with small community fish.
They are best kept in small groups, s they can hide more if on there own. To sex the cherry barbs is easy, males are more brighter in colour than the females.
They have a diet of flake, small pellets, and granular foods, also a treat of freeze dried, frozen or live foods.
Cherry barbs are very small fish, they only require small size foods.
Flake, mini granular, with live and frozen foods as treats.
To keep the nice bright red colour we say a colour enhancing food is best.
With cherry barbs we only recommend feeding once a day at the most.
