Puntius tetrazona common name green tiger barb.
They can grow up to 8 cm / 3 inches. They live in water parameters of PH range 6.0-7.5, temperatures of 23-26 Celsius / 74-79 °F.
Green tiger barb fish are semi aggressive fish, just like other barbs they can be very nippy. We recommend not to mix them with small peaceful community fish, or any fish with long flowing fins (fighters or guppies).
Green tiger barbs are best mixed with other nippy fish. As they are a playful fish they are best to be kept in groups.
They eat any food you put in the tank like flakes, small pellets, or granular food.
Also with treats of freeze dried, frozen or live foods.
Green tiger barbs will eat anything from flake, pellet, granular, to live and frozen foods. As they are only small they don’t need anything to big.
