Fish

At Sedgley Road Aquarium we stock a large variety of tropical and cold water fish for indoor aquariums and pond fish for outdoor ponds.

On the ground floor you will find 15 tanks of coldwater fish for indoor fish tanks. We have a selection of oranda, ryukin, moor, telescope eyes and other fancy goldfish, during the summer months we also have Xipophorus variatus, a temperate species of platy.

Through the back of the ground floor you will find 22 tanks and vats for pond fish. We have a nice range of pond fish in during the summer months, however during the winter this section does get closed down.

Our tropical fish room is on the 1st floor, the stairs to get to the tropical fish room are found by the main entrance of the shop.

On the first floor we have 147 tanks in the main room for tropical fish. These all range in different sizes. In the middle room we have 10 larger tanks for bigger fish where we also have one large tank with 6 sections for shrimp. A new bog wood section has just been built to show case some of our pieces of wood we carry.
In the back room we have a further fish 36 tanks, and a fish tank show room.
Combined we have 204 tanks with a lovely selection of tropical fish ranging from micro fish to larger oddballs.

We do not post or deliver fish, it’s collection only. All our fish come with a 24-48 hour guarantee, subject to a water sample and the bodies being returned should losses occur.
